Emilia International Kinder Spark

Emilia International Preschool offers a curriculum pathway for children aged 2-6 years, from nursery to reception. In the early years, the school follows the Development Matters guidance from the UK, which is comprised of seven areas of learning and development. The school's emphasis is on learning through play, guided by the thematic-based learning model of the International Preschool Curriculum (IPC). The aim is to develop a love of learning in students and encourage decision-making, problem-solving, collaboration, and independence.

The school provides a balanced approach with both adult-led lessons and child-initiated learning, allowing children to take charge of their own learning and follow their interests. Mandarin, English, and BM lessons are compulsory for all nursery and reception children. The school also offers an Intensive Mandarin Programme for students who plan to progress to a Chinese school system for primary education. Specialist teaching is offered for the arts, dance and movements, music, and languages, and an extensive co-curricular program completes the approach to developing the whole child.
